AUB Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum at American University of Beirut exhibits an unprecedented collection of specimens of plants and animals from Lebanon and the region, making it a unique showcase of the area’s biodiversity over the last 150 years.
The collections contain more than 15,000 vertebrate and invertebrate specimens of over 1,200 species, and are invaluable for taxonomic research on changes to the region’s natural environment due to human activity and development.
