Coteaux de Bortys

In the village of Eddeh, Coteaux de Botrys overlooks the city of Batroun and the sea and has been producing red wines and arak since 1998, and a 300-year-old farmhouse serves as the winery’s cellars. The vineyards cover 10 hectares and range in altitude from 250 to 400 meters above sea level, and Coteaux de Botrys produces three red wines (a blend and two varietals), using Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Grenache. The grapes are cultivated for low yield and high quality and only organic fertilizers are used.

Wine critic Michael Karam has cited their Arak Kfifane as possibly the best in Lebanon.

The winery also hosts lunches with wine tastings on every first and last Sunday of the month between June and September. Tours outside of these dates are possible but must be booked in advance.
