Iris Domain

Iris Domain is named after the endangered Sofarana Iris, which is endemic to the Lebanese highlands. The estate vineyards range between 1,000 and 1,200 meters above sea level near the villages of Btalloun & Bhamdoun in Mount Lebanon.

Iris Domain is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah aged in oak for 15 months or less. It’s a deep, dark, rich wine with striking tannins, and production is quite small, with about 6,000 bottles a year.

Part of the profit margin from each vintage is reinvested into the preservation of the Sofarana Iris by proprietors Elisabet & Sarmad Salibi.
