In the suburbs of Hasbaya is a Druze religious fort. It contains around 40 hermitages, and believers go there every Tuesday to meditate. In the outer hall, there is a round, large rocky seat under two oak trees. On them, there are traces of chains which were used to pull water.
Visitors are politely requested to seek permission from the resident sheikh before entering the site and female visitors are requested to cover their heads as a courtesy.
Note: The fort is in the UNIFL zone. Foreign visitors will need a pass from General Security.
