Even if you think you’re not interest in minerals, this collection will stun and transfix you. Housed in a gorgeous, ultra-modern underground space, the Mim Musem boasts one of the most dazzling and extensive private collections of minerals in the world.
The museum is located on the Saint-Joseph University Campus in Beirut and contains than 1,500 minerals representing more than 300 different species from over 60 countries, passionately collected by Mr.Salim Edde sinc 1997.
The collection is accompanied by films and scientific applications of mineralogy, which reveal a world of unexpected marvels. An afternoon at this museum will leave you shocked at the enormous beauty and intricacy of the planet we live on.
