St. Maron Church (Beirut)

This roman-style church with variegated, Oriental stone arches was built in 1875. It is known for its arcades and quarried stones, and its beauty is reflected in its stained glass windows and its white marble altar, which is surmounted by a portrait of St. Maron painted by Daoud Corm.
