Twenty-five kilometers east of Tyre, in the heart of Jabal Amel, the village of Tebnine is regarded as among the most diverse villages in South Lebanon. It likely dates back to the Canaanite era and features the internationally celebrated Toron Crusader (Tebnine) Castle, having been refurbished by French UNIFIL troops in 2012 with EU funding.


Nightlife here is centered around the town’s cafes, where families gather en-masse at night to socialize.
